Description: Psychotoxic is an 1st person shooter where the player controls one Angela Prophet... half human, half angel... whose mission is simply to save the world from the Fourth Horseman, an evil character from ancient Babylon, who can bring Armageddon to end all existence. Angela, with a little help from some friends, must journey through the futuristic cities and fantastic Dream Worlds, shooting a lot of stuff in the process in order to stop the evil from destroying everything. Gameplay spans through two different kinds of levels: There is the Real World which is a futuristic city with normal weapons and enemies, and then there is a Dream World where not only the guns, but also the enemies and visuals are sometimes very weird indeed.Throughout the game, Angie comes to an understanding of her role as civilization's savior, discovering a series of unique abilities, such as invisibility, the slowing of time and the infiltration of other's dreams all of which aid her progress. There are 19 weapons in all, which means that both the dream- and the real world has about 10 guns each. They span from normal pistols and rifles to more fantastic ones that the dream world has to offer. The basic gameplay is 3D shooting through the eyes of Angela as she makes her way through the levels, shooting people (and monsters), collecting stuff, opening doors, and talking to folks. Once in a while she gets to the Dream World where each level is wackier than the last one, ranging from cartoon-themed ones, to gothic villages and very hell-like environments also.
